Sandy Fyfe
I am a Partner with the firm with a mixture of audit clients of all types, Not for Profit clients, and highly entrepreneurial business clients. I also perform Financial Due Diligence work and other work related to buying and selling businesses. I am a Chartered Accountant (ICAS) and also hold a Diploma in Charity Accounting through ICAEW. I have been a partner since 2000.
My team are energetic, solutions-driven, and client-focussed. I enjoy working with them. I also enjoy problem-solving for clients, taking their stresses and problems as my own, and ultimately solving them. These are the things that make me want to come to the office each day.
With a ‘can do’ attitude, I have been exposed to many interesting projects over the years and so have a wealth of relatable experience. From Perth, I am able to service clients throughout the UK, across diverse sectors as well as diverse geography. During 2023, I was involved in multiple company disposals, in addition to a number of MBOs and several company acquisitions.
I am a passionate football fan, an ex-cricketer, and am a keen but frustrated golfer. I have promoted and played in bands for much of adulthood, and music is another evergreen passion of mine. I have also served on the Boards of a number of community-focussed Not For Profit Entities over the past ten years.
Tracy Borland
I started at Morris & Young in 2001 and progressed to a Partner in 2014. I am a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and an affiliated member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance & Accountancy.
I manage clients ranging from small businesses and start-ups to large group companies. I have clients spread across various sectors including agricultural, hospitality, medical practitioners, and charitable entities. I service clients from home and abroad.
I enjoy supporting and watching my son in the many clubs and teams that he is involved. Socialising with my family and friends is something I try to do regularly and visit local Bistros enjoying the odd glass wine. I go to music festivals and events across the country to see all different genres of music from tributes of Prince to Depeche Mode to name but a few and I’m not embarrassed to say that I have a passion for 80s gigs such as Rewind. I love to be at home and if I’ve time you’ll find me curled up with my favourite book or viewing my favourite film with my husband and son.

Shona McDonald
Having joined the firm in 1993, I have been an Associate with the firm since 2019. I am ACCA qualified. I work with clients across all sectors and sizes providing advisory, accounting, taxation and audit services.
I enjoy helping clients through a variety of stages of their business from the initial setting up of their accounting systems/controls, preparing management accounts, discussing growth and new markets, cashflows and raising finance, statutory accounts and taxation right the way through to assistance with sale/retiral.
Due to my significant experience and personal growth from joining as a school leaver to progressing and qualifying within the firm I now enjoy supporting the development of our team to provide a great service and talent retention.
With the belief that we should always try to help our clients I have been able to carry out a diverse role over my time with Morris & Young. Most recently I have assisted with preparing various cashflows for obtaining finance and grants for a variety of significant extension projections. With the upsurge in the Green Energy sector, I have also carried out audits on several new clients within the renewables sector,
In my spare time I spend a lot of time reliving my youth by being a “horsey mum” travelling the country with my daughter and her horse competing. I enjoy evenings out with friends and family, walking the dogs and sitting in the sun with my kindle. Inevitably as people find out about my ‘day job’, I have been opted onto various charity/club committees over the last twenty years, which provides me with a sense of fulfilment and an opportunity to ‘give back’.
